Asha Varghese

A medical doctor by profession with over 5 years experience in the medical field. She is currently pursuing a fellowship in Family Medicine. Elderly support is her dream initiative and her way of giving back to the elderly community. She believes our elderly should be given the choice to live independently if they want to. At the same time she also believes their families should not be burdened to take care of their elders at the cost of their own independence and careers. A lot of us want to take care of our elders but are not able to do so due to various reasons. Elderly support was conceptualised to bridge just that. While the elderly feel cared for, their families feel assured their elders are taken care of the way they would have taken care of them if they could be around.

Sightica Innovations

‘Sightica Innovations' registered as a startup in 2020 ( formerly Sightica Solutions est 2014) is working on technology solutions inspired by the involvement with the rehabilitation work with the visually challenged community ( registered charitable NGO, SRVC) since 2002. The team has been instrumental in developing unique, easy-to-use Android Apps ( Kuluk, Mapseeker etc) which is beneficial for the blind and elderly users. Sightica believes that technology must be made 'Accessible' to all and hence has been successful in bringing 'Inclusion' to the work-place by having a blind Android developer too who is a part of the team. All apps developed are 'accessible' and are available in English & Hindi (local language) as well.
